Biggest Sports Events of 2023

2023 will see some of world sport’s biggest events feature in a bumper calendar year. The 2023 Cricket World Cup will be held in India, the first time the cricket loving nation has solely hosted the competition and will briefly overlap with the 2023 Rugby World Cup taking place in France. The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup will be the first Women’s World Cup to be jointly hosted, as Australia and New Zealand will be in the spotlight. Golf’s Ryder Cup will also return to Europe for the first time in 5 years, being played in Italy for the first time as Rome’s Marco Simone Golf and Country Club hosts the biennial event.
